Alexander-Arnold has been excluded from the English squad in the last five games. He was last entrusted to him by Gareth Southgate against Hungary in April.

Alexander-Arnold himself is in the spotlight because even his club-level performances are not convincing. His defensive aspect of him has been highlighted several times, one of which is because he is often considered late in sniffing for danger when there is a change of possession.
His defensive prowess is usually masked by his goal-making ability. But the 23-year-old has yet to make an assist this season, despite having scored two goals.
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp was asked about the possibility of Alexander-Arnold being excluded from the English side and responded in a sharp tone.
