«We scored two spectacular goals, Diogo Jota is ‘on fire’. We were completely convinced when he arrived at the club that he would help us a lot. Since he’s been here, he’s taken another step, he’s become a world-class striker,” said Jurgen Klopp, in statements quoted by BBC.
Diogo Jota has already surpassed the record of goals (13) in his debut season at Anfield. The Portuguese striker has scored 14 times this season in just 27 games.
