Jürgen Klopp is with that Liverpool FC still undefeated on championship course. The German football coach won 2-0 (1-0) against Sheffield United on Thursday evening with the English Premier League leaders. The Reds are now 58 points 13 points ahead of second-placed Leicester City, who won 3-0 the day before at Newcastle United. Liverpool also played one less game. The goals for the Klopp team were scored by Mo Salah in the 4th minute and Sadio Mané (64.).

Dominant hosts

Liverpool put pressure on from the start and took the lead early through the strong Salah. After a cross from full-back Andrew Robertson, the fast striker scored his tenth goal of the season from just under five meters. Sheffield defended bravely, but the climber rarely had relief attacks.

The hosts dominated in the second half, had significantly more possession and chances. Salah only hit the post in the 61st minute before preparing the second Liverpool goal. The Egyptian played a one-two with scorer Mané, who scored in the second attempt from close range. (Best / Reuters)

Cristiano Ronaldo was a great pleasure for a fan: he played soccer with a boy without legs and then gave him a very special autograph.
