SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Marvin Bagley III set his season high with 26 points and 13 rebounds and the Sacramento Kings beat the Houston Rockets 126-114 on Friday night.

De’Aaron Fox added 27 points to Sacramento’s tally and dished out eight assists. Buddy Hield finished with 19 points and Harrison Barnes with 16 and nine rebounds.

Christian Wood had 26 points for Houston, while Jae’Sean Tate had 17 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. The Rockets have lost 16 of their last 20 games.

The two teams will meet again on Sunday.

Bagley played his best game of the season and kept up the pace down the stretch, scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter to help Sacramento post its second win.

With a 98-91 lead on the scoreboard, the Kings scored 12 straight. Houston responded with a quick barrage of 3-pointers and pulled within 110-103 before a pair of free throws by Bagley, two baskets by Hield and a one-handed shot by Bagley.

The Rockets got within 118-111 but Sacramento put the lead back on a basket by Barnes and two free throws by Tyrese Haliburton.
