King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima can be seen in a photo circulating on the internet during their holiday. In the photo, the king and queen are standing next to a man, according to RTL News the owner of a restaurant.
The royal couple is currently on holiday on the Greek island of Milos. The photo shows that the king has a mouth mask in his hand and is standing close to the possible restaurant owner together with Máxima. In Greece, too, people must keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
The Government Information Service (RVD) wanted to RTL News do not comment on the photo. Against the WE the RVD only says that it concerns “a private situation”.
RTL News also spoke with whoever took the photo of the royal couple. “The photo was for a private photo album,” the photographer said RTL News.
