Kim Jong Un Murka, Suddenly Throws Office Into Prison!

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Kim Jong Un’s government has decided to imprison North Korean government officials and a number of ruling party officials for failing to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Citing the latest report by Radio Free Asia, Sunday (29/5/2022), these officials are not only imprisoned by the government. Some of them were also sent to do forced labor.

The Covid-19 pandemic situation in North Korea is said to have the potential to embarrass the government if people start to question how the virus can spread so quickly.

To avoid this, several local officials were accused of corruption and incompetence. They are also blamed for the spike in Covid-19 cases in North Korea.

“Several officials were punished for their failure to set up an emergency quarantine system. Some of them were two managers who had been late in locking up the area,” said an official in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong.

The two managers in question were ‘locked up’ for three days after being brought to the stage and criticized in public.

However, a source said the authorities would not release any information regarding the punishment given. The reason is, they still want to protect the reputation and dignity of the officials in question.

“Two years ago, they imprisoned a company official for five days. He felt offended and embarrassed, then resigned the day after his release citing health reasons,” he explained.

Meanwhile, officials at the company located in Ryanggang said the Covid-19 pandemic had caused tensions in North Korea to rise. In fact, punishment is often used to make officials work harder.

For information, until now the North Korean government has not disclosed in detail the daily confirmed cases of Covid-19. However, they still share information about the mysterious fever case.
