Khaled Al-Ghandour, the former football star of Zamalek Club, blamed the media, Amr Adib, for one of his statements that followed Zamalek’s loss in the African Champions League final.

Al-Ghandour said in statements on Zamalek TV: “I am very proud of Amr Adeeb, but I do not agree with him.” In a statement, we prefer our longevity. We say Zamalek played and Al-Ahly won.

In his message to Adeeb, Al-Ghandour said: “Zamalekazi is not right, saying that, Zamalek has won Al-Ahly a lot in recent years.”

And he ended in his message to Adeeb: “Zamalek is not an area for mockery, laughter and trends on Twitter.”
