Kevin James – “King of Queens” star from parcel carrier to neo-Nazi cinema

“I don’t want to play the same guy over and over again,” said King of Queens star Kevin James (55) in 2009 in the run-up to his film “Der Kaufhaus Cop” in an interview with BILD. “I wanted to face the viewers differently.”

His wish came true more than ten years later: In the horror thriller “Becky”, James is as far away from his role as a cuddly package messenger Doug Heffernan like the earth is from the moon!

The good hairstyle has given way to a short-cropped skull, he has a black full beard, is tattooed on the back of his hand and has the swastika on the back of his head. His dark new role is finished: James plays the neo-Nazi Dominick.

That’s what it’s all about: Becky’s family (Lulu Wilson) drives to a secluded house on the lake for the weekend. But the 13-year-old doesn’t feel like her father (Joel McHale), his new girlfriend Kayla (Amanda Brugel) and her son Ty (Isaiah Rockcliffe). So Becky escapes to her tree house nearby – and the horror begins …

Because now “Kevin James 2.0” comes into play: He is the leader of a group of escaped convicts who enter the house, attack the family and take them hostage.

The bad thugs are looking for a key that Becky has in her possession. And from now on that will make them fire under their butt

“Becky” was released on Friday in the USA as a VoD and is also to come to the (car) cinemas. When and whether the film should also be released in Germany is not yet known. You can see the trailer above!
