Oregon’s Sadiq a Finalist for John Mackey Award
NEW YORK - Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq has been named a finalist for the 2025 John Mackey Award, recognizing the nation’s most outstanding college tight end. The announcement came Monday, placing Sadiq among the final three contenders alongside Baylor’s Michael trigg and Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers.

His career-best performance came in Week 12 against Minnesota, where he hauled in eight passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. He followed that up with six receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns against USC, marking his third career game with multiple touchdown catches.
Throughout 38 career games, Sadiq has amassed 65 receptions, ranking ninth all-time among Oregon tight ends. he also has 11 touchdown catches, tying him for eighth in program history. Sadiq is just 189 receiving yards away from becoming the tenth Oregon tight end to surpass 1,000 career receiving yards.
