As the 22 franchises invited for the takeover start arriving one after the other in the bubble, the Los Angeles Clippers would have made the trip without their star player, Kawhi Leonard, rest in California. According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Leonard was apparently not part of the group that arrived Wednesday night at Orlando Airport. The player would have received permission from the league to stay a few more days in California, the time for him to settle a family matter. The wingman should arrive in the coming days according to several sources.

The Clippers are among the favorites for the title this season and have posted 44 wins and 20 losses since the games were suspended last March.
