Katy Perry thought about suicide after breaking up with Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry told Sirius XM radio that she had a very bad experience of her breakup with Orlando Bloom in 2017. So much so that she considered the worst.

Katy Perry told Sirius XM radio that she thought about suicide. “My career was on an upward trajectory over and over again and then there was a little dropout, not that big when you look at it from the outside. But for me it was an earthquake. I had given so much and it literally broke me in two. I separated from my boyfriend, who has since become the future father of my baby. And then I was excited to be able to fly again with the release of my next album. But the reviews didn’t get me high so I just crashed”, Confided the future mother. A feeling she had already felt in 2013, after her divorce from Russell Brand, and for which she had written the song By The Grace of God, released in 2013 on the album Prism.

“I have found ways to be grateful”

Katy Perry therefore had to do a lot of work to get her head out of the water. “It was so important for me to be broken like this that I was able to find my integrity in a whole different way. And to live my life other than being a hungry pop star all the time. Gratitude is definitely the thing that saved my life, because if I hadn’t found it, I would have wallowed in my own sadness and I would probably have committed suicide. But I found ways to be thankful”, Confides the interpreter of Tiger. “If I was really, really bad, I would walk in circles and say: “I’m grateful, I’m grateful…” even though i was not in a good mood”, She recalls.
