Katja Schuurman has become a mother again. The 45-year-old actress and presenter gave birth to a daughter, which she had together with her partner Freek van Noortwijk.
Schuurman reports Instagram that she gave birth at 6.02 am. Her daughter has been given the name Coco Loulou. “She is enchanting”, she writes with pictures of the girl.
Schuurman announced in February that she was expecting her second child. She already had daughter Sammie (9) with her ex-husband Thijs Römer.
The pregnancy was preceded by a fierce period for the actress: it was difficult for her that in order to become pregnant, she had to stop the medication she was taking because of her bipolar disorder. Schuurman regularly shared on social media what consequences she experienced during her pregnancy.
Schuurman and Van Noortwijk got married in the summer of 2019, but not for the law. The couple had been together for over a year when they became engaged in June 2016.
