Kate is showing off new confidence and increasing her involvement

Kate appears to be hitting a new stride as she takes a more active role in projects and royal engagements, which may or may not have anything to do with Prince Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family.

“Her voice gets louder and louder as she gains confidence,” royal commentator Omid Scobie shared during the HeirPod podcast, noting Kate’s increased visibility as she has toured the UK and other stops to promote her early childhood survey.

“It, of course, sparked a conversation on raising the next generation of children and it has seen Kate really step out into a more confident role,” he added.

She’s been picking up steam

Scobie continued, sharing how royal fans have seen much more of Kate as of late.

“We have seen her quietly over the recent months pick up a little bit of steam. I think, I shouldn’t be criticized too much for saying this, but there had been times where it felt like she wasn’t doing a lot. And we’re now at a point where I think she’s really realizing the impact that she can have when using her platform wisely.”

“And this work with the early years, which is a lifelong project for her, she plans to continue with this at least for the next decade. Focusing on the impact of childhood experiences and parent’s perspective, child’s perceptive, and carer’s perspective, it’s really something important for her,” he noted.

Kate is passionate about her new project

Kate launched her 5 Big Questions survey and has been actively promoting the work in a number of appearances to start a conversation about early childhood experiences and providing the best foundations for child development.

Kate shared her interest in the early childhood project during an interview on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, calling it “quite a journey” and noting how she’s “’excited to talk about it a bit more publicly.”

“Since I got married I’ve been really looking into this, it’s become a huge passion — going out and listening to what makes people tick and also things that unify people and also the struggles people are facing,” Kate shared.

She continued: “Meeting people who are struggling with addiction, homelessness, abuse, and things like that, you really get moved by some of the challenges that people are facing and its heartbreaking to hear. The more you look into everybody’s experiences so much of those get traced back to the earliest years of someone’s life and you hear that time and time again across the nation, across the world.”

She further shared how childhood experiences can have a long-term impact on health and happiness, noting, “I suppose that has really driven my interest in digging deep [into early years]. I’ve been speaking to academics, to doctors, practitioners, charities… trying to work out what could be done to help prevent some of these really sad social challenges.”
