The reigning extra-league champions of the Karlovy Vary volleyball players and the players of Dukla in Liberec became the first winners of the Czech Club Super Cup. Karlovy Vary defeated the holders of the Czech Cup Dukla Liberec 3: 1 after sets 25:19, 20:25, 25:14 and 26:24. The Dukla women defeated the Prague Olympus, who hastily replaced the cup winners from Olomouc, clearly 3: 0 after sets 25:13, 25:16 and 25:17.
