The first teaser for the new Netflix documentary about rapper Kanye West is out and the fans are freaking out! From 16.2. “Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy” shows previously unknown insights behind the scenes of Kanye and shows the artist in private like never before. The documentary spans 20 years and shows the development from the slightly naive ghetto gangster to the ultra-successful megalomaniac .

Whether his ex-in-pe Kim Kardashian also appears in the documentary is unclear. It’s quite possible that Kanye would rather forget the War of the Roses and the divorce drama…

The TV event lasts three weeks

Of course, a documentary about Kanye West can’t just be a documentary. Netflix reveals that much in the teaser and a “three-week event” is announced. Sure, Kanye doesn’t let himself be squashed and really hits the shit again. The title of the trilogy says it all: the three parts are about “Jeen-yuhs”, which means nothing else in US slang than “genius”.

“Filmed over two decades, Jeen-yuhs is an intimate and insightful portrait of Kanye’s experiences. It reflects both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist,” Netflix said in a statement.

Kanye could use that right now. After all, the last video of him was less pleasant. It showed him losing his nerve on the street and becoming violent towards a stranger.
