On Monday night Norwegian time, artist Kanye West, now called Ye, chose to delete all the content on his own Instagram profile where he has as many as 9.5 million followers.
The account has not been deleted, and it is still uncertain whether he will return to the social platform or not.
According to Page Six and several other American media, the action may have happened in line with West having been heavily emotional lately.
Among other things, his close friend, Louis Vuitton designer Virgil Abloh, recently died of cancer.
Sang for his dead friend
West has not yet spoken publicly about Abloh’s death, but the rapper chose to dedicate his Sunday service to him.

During the service, West sang an emotional version of Adele’s new song “Easy on Me”. The artist also replaced some of the sentences in the song with spiritual lyrics instead.
– I know that your love flows like a river, and I can wash myself in it forever, the artist sang, among other things.
West and Abloh became friends in 2009 and according to TMZ West must have been one of those who knew about the designer’s cancer.
Prayer for his ex-wife
It’s not long since West wrote a Thanksgiving prayer in which he talked about wanting to find his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
In a video, he said that he takes responsibility for his actions and spoke out as his previous mistakes with reality star Kardashian.

– All I think about every day is how I can get my family back together, and how I can heal the pain I have caused, West said in the video.
West and Kardashian are currently going through a divorce and have four children together: North (8), Saint (5), Chicago (3) and Psalm (2).
The artist mentioned several events that broke up their family: alcohol consumption, manic episodes, temperament and his ego.
Deleted the account several times
According to People This is not the first time West has made drastic changes to its Instagram account.
The artist acquired an account on Instagram for the first time in 2016. After this, he has been back and forth, and has chosen to delete his account several times.
When he finally chose to return to the social platform in July, it was just before he was to release his tenth album “Donda”. Then he used the platform to promote the album.
