Kansas City Man Pleads Guilty to Multiple Sexual Assault Charges

Kansas City, MO – A Kansas City⁤ man pleaded guilty Wednesday, December 6, 2023, to federal charges stemming from a series of ‌rapes ⁣and robberies targeting three women between February and March⁣ of 2023. The ⁢Justice Department confirmed the guilty plea of 32-year-old deandre K. Johnson.

The case highlights ⁢a concerning pattern of violent crime impacting the Kansas City metropolitan area and underscores ongoing efforts by federal and local authorities to hold perpetrators accountable. Johnson’s plea avoids a trial and carries a potential sentence of up to life in prison. Sentencing⁣ is scheduled for February 28, 2024, before U.S.District Judge Brian C. Wimes.
