Kane finally trains with Spurs, but City haven’t given up

London

Harry Kane Finally practicing together Tottenham Hotspur. But, that doesn’t mean Manchester City gave up chasing him.

Kane’s future has indeed been speculated throughout the transfer market this summer. This is related to City’s interest in bringing him to the Etihad Stadium.

Unfortunately, twice City offers worth 100 million pounds plus players are always rejected by Tottenham management. Chairman Daniel Levy insists he will not sell Kane, who is still under contract until 2024.

In fact, according to British media, Levy will only waver if City dare to pay around 160 million pounds. This then made Kane annoyed because he felt Levy had broken his promise.

Levy once promised to let Kane go when Tottenham failed to grab the trophy and the big four finish, which he suffered last season.

Kane, angry at Levy, rebelled and missed two scheduled training sessions last week. However, Kane denied the news of his rebellion because he was still in quarantine after the summer vacation.

As quoted Sky SportsKane finally appeared at the Tottenham training center on Tuesday (17/8/2021) morning local time, after completing his isolation period. He has been training with his team-mates.

Kane was absent when Tottenham beat Manchester City 1-0 in the opening weekend. However, the 28-year-old is expected to play against Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League play-offs, Friday (20/8) early morning WIB tomorrow.

Tottenham deliberately registered Kane in the event to make trouble for City who would recruit him. Even so, Manchester City apparently has not given up.

Transfer agent Fabrizio Romano says City are still hoping to sign Harry Kane. City are planning to make a £125 million offer which is likely to be rejected.

If the offer is rejected, Manchester City may be desperate to meet the offer of 160 million pounds.
