Kaio Jorge runs away from Benfica: eagle had an agreement with Santos but player signed for Juventus – Benfica

Benfica lost the race to hire Kaio Jorge, after have reached an agreement with Santos. The 19-year-old Brazilian striker signed a pre-contract with Juventus, which will be valid from January 2022.

The player is half a year away from ending his contract with Peixe and Benfica tried to hold the Brazilian prodigy through an agreement with Santos: 3 million euros, plus central Conti and winger Yony González. Santos said yes, as this solution guaranteed him a financial income and two reinforcements. The problem is that Milan and Juventus were in the race and negotiated directly with the player and his representative Giuliano Bertolucci, waving tempting offers. The ‘Old Lady’ won, the agreement between Benfica and Santos being of no use.
