Juventus coach Max Allegri: Who is Pogba? I have forgotten!

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri joked when asked about his interest in bringing back Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Pogba’s contract at Man United expires at the end of this season. The French player is almost certainly on a free transfer as well as closing his six-year tenure with the Red Devils.

Pogba is said to still have fond memories of Turin in the 2012–2016 period and Allegri is reportedly eager to reunite with the 2018 World Cup-winning midfielder.

“I don’t know him, who is he?,” Allegri said, while joking when asked about Pogba’s transfer after the 2-2 draw with Lazio, Tuesday (17/5) early morning WIB.

“Is that an English word? I completely forgot about it, because it was so many years ago,” he added.

As reported The Gazzetta dello SportJuventus have contacted Pogba’s agent regarding the amount of salary. The Bianconeri are said to be trying to convince the 29-year-old midfielder with an impressive offer.

Understandably, PSG are also reportedly attracted by Pogba with a higher salary offer than Juve.
