The complaint arises after members of the PNP, including the governor Wanda Vazquez, the legislative presidents, Thomas Rivera Schatz and Carlos “Johnny” Méndez, and Pedro Pierluisi, among others, they will participate in the inauguration of the new headquarters of the community.
“Like any complaint that reaches the Department, the matter was referred for investigation and its disposition will depend on the results of the analysis completed by the assigned personnel,” said the communications staff of Justice to this medium.
The complaint was received by the DJ on Sunday, May 17 with an allegation of violation of the Executive Order 2020-38.

Upon reacting to the complaint, the first executive defended herself and indicated that she will not be paying attention to these complaints as she considers them “Politics”.
“I am not going to enter into political considerations. This is political because many people and themselves (the popular ones) on their committees probably should have met. Here was a committee inauguration, it was a board meeting and the only photo I remember in which perhaps we stuck a little more of the social distance was the time to cut the ribbon. During the meeting everyone was with their mask and social distancing ”, assured the governor in radio interview (WKAQ).
We arrived at the new Administrative Offices of the @pnp_pr to participate in the Directory. We had the honor of Don Carlos, Doña Tiody, widow of Don Luis A. Ferré, and the progressive leadership cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the facilities. # PNP2020 #State pic.twitter.com/u4za66MG6u

I met with the secretary of @Justicia_PR, Dennise Longo Quiñones, Department officials and advisers to carefully evaluate the Civil Code project that we are about to receive. I reaffirm that we will ensure that acquired rights are not violated. pic.twitter.com/P1DNWrEQI6
