Paolo Veronesi, president of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation, explains why sport has an impact on reducing the risk of cancer.

Paolo Veronesi recommends doing aerobic training at least three times a week. Logically, we must not overdo it, each individual must calibrate the time according to their physical conditions. In fact, sport generates benefits under certain conditions, otherwise it could also be deleterious. Therefore, you absolutely must not force it.

In general, physical activity should lead to an increase in heart rate, sweating and breathing. These three conditions should not prevent you from speaking during a conversation while playing sports. Just do this a few hours a week to reduce the risk of cancer: walking at a brisk pace, pedaling at 15 km / h or water aerobics. As we have seen, sport has positive repercussions beyond the rosiest expectations.
