“Because the ultraviolet index is very high, so the light is very hot. Because it can’t be long, whatever time you want to sunbathe, your blood vitamin D levels will only reach 40 nanograms per milliliter, “explained dr. Henry in one of his video uploads.

Further, dr. Henry said people are free to determine for themselves how much vitamin D they want while sunbathing. He explained that 40 nanograms per milliliter is only effective for preventing rickets, soft bone disease in children and is also good for healing fractures.

“But autoimmune diseases, heart disease, various cancers, increasing immunity, bacterial or viral infections including Covid-19 and others need to be optimal. Optimal vitamin D is 100 or even 140 nanograms per milliliter,” he continued.

As a result, people who sunbathe do not have to worry about poisoning. Because poisoning can occur when vitamin D as much as 300 nanograms per milliliter.

“We have set a benchmark not to exceed 150 nanograms per milliliter. So life is a choice, you can choose if you want 40 please,” he concluded.
