A motorcyclist fell heavily after losing control of his machine on Friday as he was driving towards the Woods (JU).

A motorcyclist, driving from Boéchet towards Les Bois (JU), was seriously injured on Friday afternoon in a traffic accident.

The rider retracted too late after entering an overtake. He braked to fall back to the right but his motorcycle hit the rear of the car he wanted to pass.

The motorcyclist lost control of his machine and fell heavily to the ground, according to a press release from the Jura police. Seriously injured, he was taken care of by the paramedics, who requested the intervention of Rega.
