JUNIA Launches Decade-Long Plan to Future-Proof Engineering Education

Saint-Étienne, France JUNIA, France’s oldest engineering school, today unveiled a sweeping ten-year plan, “JUNIA2035,” designed to radically reshape its pedagogy ​and ensure graduates are equipped to thrive in⁢ a rapidly evolving professional landscape. The initiative, coinciding with ⁣the approach of the school’s 150th anniversary, centers on cultivating “change makers” capable of innovation and impactful action.

The ‌core of the transformation is a commitment to ⁤360° training, blending⁢ specialized engineering skills with⁣ crucial transversal competencies. This holistic approach ‌extends beyond⁢ graduation, with JUNIA General director Alexandre Rigal announcing the concept of a “diploma guaranteed for life.” This unprecedented offering will allow alumni to ‌return to JUNIA for‌ continuous upskilling in emerging technologies⁣ and professions – at no additional cost – ensuring their skills remain ‌current throughout their careers.

“We ⁤want to make each ‌graduate an ‌engineer capable of‌ adapting to changes in the professional⁤ world, well after⁢ obtaining their diploma,” Rigal stated.
