Tirunesh Dibaba (long distance running) born in 1985

Tirunesh Dibaba has won three Olympic titles, five track world champion titles and four cross country world champion titles (including one in cross court) during his career. She is the only athlete to have completed the double over 5,000 and 10,000 meters during the same edition of the Olympic Games in 2008 in Beijing. The Ethiopian is also the first woman to win the 10,000 meters twice in a row at the 2008 and 2012 Games. She is the current world record holder in the 5,000 meters with the time of 14 min 11 s 15, established in Oslo in 2008.

José Antonio Reyes (football) died in 2019

Throughout his career, José Antonio Reyes has played in many prestigious clubs (Arsenal, Real Madrid, Benfica Lisbon, Atlético de Madrid). The Spanish offensive midfielder has the distinction of being the most successful player in history in the Europa League.
