ARM – Águas e Residuos da Madeira, SA informs that, on the holiday of 1 July 2020, there will be changes in the services of public attendance, collection and reception of waste in the five municipalities adhering to ARM.
In a press release, ARM appreciates “everyone’s understanding and collaboration”.
Ribeira Brava
• The collection of waste, which is usual on Wednesday (1 July), remains on the same day, starting at 8 am;
• The selective collection of glass usual on Wednesday (1 July), will be postponed to Thursday (2 July), starting at 9 am;
• The selective collection of paper / cardboard usual on Wednesday (1 July), will be postponed to Thursday (2 July), starting at 9 am;
• The selective collection of plastic and metal packaging usual on Wednesday (1 July), will be brought forward to Tuesday (30 June), starting at 9 am.
Câmara de Lobos
• The selective collections of paper / cardboard and plastic and metal packaging in the parish of Câmara de Lobos, which are customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be partly brought forward to Tuesday (30 June) and partly postponed to the following 5th Thursday (2 July);
• The selective collection of paper / cardboard from the parish of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be partly brought forward to Tuesday (30 June) and partly postponed until Thursday and the following Friday (2 and 3 July, respectively);
• The selective collection of plastic and metal packaging in the parish of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be partly brought forward to Tuesday (30 June) and partly postponed to 5. Next thursday (2 July);
• The selective collection of paper / cardboard from the parish of Quinta Grande, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be brought forward to Tuesday (30 June);
• The selective collection of paper / cardboard from the parish of Jardim da Serra, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be partly brought forward to Tuesday (30 June) and partly postponed until Friday (3 July).
Machico
• Waste collection, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), remains on the same day, starting at 8 am
Santana
• Waste collection, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be partly brought forward to Tuesday (30 June) and partly postponed until Thursday (2 July), starting at 9 am.
Porto Santo
• The collection of undifferentiated waste, which is customary on Wednesday (1 July), will be partly brought forward to Tuesday (30 June) and partly postponed until Thursday (2 July), starting at 13 and 8 hours, respectively.
WASTE RECEPTION
Regarding the reception of waste, ARM informs that on Wednesday (1st of July) the Porto Santo Solid Waste Processing Center (CPRS), the East Side Transfer Station and Madeira Island Sorting Station ( ETZL-ET) and the West Zone Transfer Station (ETZO) will be closed.
The Meia Serra Solid Waste Treatment Station (ETRS), in Santa Cruz, will be open on Wednesday (1 July), from 8 am to 3:30 pm.
