Julie Walters is probably all done with acting

The British was diagnosed with colon cancer two years ago. She had two tumors in her colon but was declared cancer-free after surgery and chemotherapy.

Her illness was caused by her busy work, Julie thinks. “The oncologist asked me, ‘why do you think you got cancer?’ And the first thing that came to mind was acting. That’s because of the way I approach it, “the actress explains. “I’m always completely in it. It’s a very stressful job and I hardly sleep when I work. It’s not good for me.”

“After the operation, I thought: I’m not going to work anymore. Unless there is another Mamma Mia! Movie,” she added with a laugh.

In the two Mamma Mia! Films, Julie played the role of Rosie. She is also known as Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter film series. Julie also played in Educating Rita (1983) and Billy Elliot (2000).
