Juergen Klopp Allows Liverpool to celebrate Premier League champions when Corona Virus pandemic

KOMPAS.com – Juergen Klopp gave Liverpool players permission to make the Premier League championship celebration amid a corona virus pandemic.

Celebration of Liverpool’s title in the English League was held after the match between Chelsea v Manchester City, Friday (6/26/2020).

Juergen Klopp’s decision then drew a lot of criticism from those who opposed the holding of the celebration of the English League title.

Critics of the Liverpool celebration saw the event gather mass and have the potential to add to the Covid-19 case in England.

However, Klopp claimed to have its own reasons for allowing foster children to hold a championship title celebration.

“That is the most minimal thing we have to do. You can’t or I can’t imagine what it’s like to be alone at home,” Klopp was quoted as saying by BolaSport.com quoted by the Daily Mirror.

“Yes, with our family, but still a little alone and without players together, how does it feel. So (the celebration) was perfect. It was perfectly organized,” Klopp continued.

The German coach was understanding if anyone criticized the celebration of the title they were doing.

However, Klopp claimed to have done it in accordance with existing health protocols and applies in the UK.

“I can understand if people question it, but we are in a confined space and we’ve all been tested twice a week,” Klopp said.
