A judge has ruled that Phil Collins’ ex-wife’s comments about his private life are irrelevant in the lawsuit over the sale of the musician’s house. They should therefore not be mentioned in the case, reports Page Six Wednesday.
Orianne Cevey has claimed in the media, among other things, that 69-year-old Collins is said to be impotent, not to wash for long periods and to be in poor mental health. The judge on Wednesday agreed with the reasoning of her ex-husband’s lawyers that those claims are irrelevant in the case surrounding the sale of the musician’s mansion.
Cevey is demanding 50 percent of the amount for sale of the house that Collins has put up for sale. The mansion in the US state of Florida is said to be worth about $ 33 million (about $ 28 million). 46-year-old Cevey and her new husband committed to the house in January in November leave.
Collins and Cevey first met when the Swiss Cevey worked as a translator for the British Collins during his tour of Switzerland in 1994. They married in 1999 and had two sons together: Nicholas and Matthew. They divorced in 2008, which at the time cost Collins 42 million British pounds (more than 46 million euros).
After Cevey divorced her second husband in 2016, she and Collins got back on track. They split up again in the summer of 2020, after the singer discovered that Cevey was not on a business trip, but was married to another man.
