Around half a million people celebrated “3 Days of Peace and Music” in the summer of 1969 at the legendary Woodstock Music Festival on a 250-hectare meadow by the farmer Max B. Yasgur in the US state of New York. Around 150,000 visitors were expected, around 500,000 mostly half-naked hippies came and celebrated a “festival of love” together. After the massive protest by the region’s population, including a certain Bob Dylan, the event was moved to Bethel, which is around 70 kilometers away. Everything else is history, which the Roaring Sixties Company revived in its “50th Anniversary of Woodstock” on December 27th at the Judenburg event center.
