The damage insurance brokerage firm Lussier Dale Parizeau announced the hiring of Joseph El-Sayegh as Regional Vice-President, Business Services and Practice Leader in Risk Management.
The company made the announcement on January 11. He took office the same day.
“Joseph has a philosophy of collaborative and open management combined with a strategic vision that will contribute to the influence of Lussier Dale Parizeau in terms of insurance advisory services and financial services for companies”, commented Michel Laurin, president and chief operating officer of the firm, about this hiring.
From reinsurance to brokerage
Mr. El-Sayegh worked for almost 20 years for the reinsurer SCOR Canada, where he was President and CEO of the reinsurer from 2016 to 2020. He had also held other management positions within the company.
“During his last mandate, he contributed to the development of the vision and strategy of the Americas region and was able to position SCOR as one of the main reinsurers in Canada”, underlines his new employer.
He also worked in Lebanon for more than 4 years in reinsurance and insurance for companies. Gen Re and Lebanon-Swiss Insurance Company.
