Barely a week goes by without Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welring top politicians and world leaders. On Friday this week, it was Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre’s turn.
With that, he follows in the footsteps of, among others, Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt and Storting President Masud Gharahkhani, as well as Western colleagues such as Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz.
They all visited the same war-torn suburbs of Irpin and Butsja outside Kyiv.
Støre got a quite different itinerary.
