Jon Jones Ngomel! Didn’t Accept Khabib To Be The Greatest Fighter Of The UFC

Jakarta

Khabib Nurmagomedov was ranked first in the latest pound-for-pound (P4P) rankings UFC. ‘The Eagle’ is the UFC’s greatest fighter, Jon Jones do not accept!

Reporting from MMAFighing.com, it follows the success of Khabib Nurmagomedov in defeating Justin Gaethje in the main party UFC 254 at Fight Island, Abu Dhabi which was held last weekend.

Khabib won convincingly in the second round through triangle choke. Then his winning streak is 29-0, plus as his last fight on the octagon.

With the victory over Gaethje, Khabib Nurmagomedov is now at the top of the UFC’s current list of pound-for-pound (P4P) fighter rankings – as he wishes.

“He deserves to be in the top pound-for-pound ranking. Khabib is the best fighter of all time,” said UFC President Dana White as quoted by the official UFC website.

Many fighters have respect for Khabib Nurmagomedov. But the taste is not for the UFC light heavyweight fighter, Jon Jones.

Jon Jones himself was replaced by Khabib Nurmagomedov in the pound-for-pound ranking. He dropped to second place.

Jon Jones is also not a fighter at random. He has a 26-1 winning record.

Jon Jones also won the belt twice as light heavyweight champion. The US fighter has defended his belt 15 times, compared to four times Khabib’s defending belt.

On his personal Instagram, Jon Jones revealed that he didn’t seem to accept that Khabib Nurmagomedov was called the UFC’s greatest fighter, and shifted himself in the pound-for-pound rankings.

“I’m talking to all of you Khabib fans out there. Fifteen world titles compared to the four titles belonging to your idol. You’re kidding, right? Fifteen to four. Are you kidding?” said Jon Jones.

“The only person who could possibly come back and challenge my record for what I have done at the UFC is probably Georges St-Pierre. He has to come back and win two title fights to match me,” he continued.

“And, I haven’t even retired yet. I’m 33 years old, I’ve done all the parts. You guys are crazy too, I really love you all, and have a nice day for you all,” he concluded.
