Jokowi’s annoyance and the threat of cabinet reshuffle amid Pandemic Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Threat of reshuffle or reshuffle the cabinet suddenly appeared in the middle pandemic Covid-19. This was revealed from a video that aired on the YouTube account of the Presidential Secretariat on Sunday (6/28/2020).

Jokowi then conveyed a threat reshuffle for ministers who are still working mediocre.

“It could, dissolve the institution. It could reshuffle. I have thought everywhere. I don’t know if Perppu is even more important if it’s needed. Because indeed this atmosphere must exist, this atmosphere, (if) you don’t feel that, already, “said the Head of State.

Jokowi gave an example of his ministers’ unresponsiveness by stating that there were many disbursed budgets.

He said the health budget that had been budgeted around Rp 75 trillion had just been disbursed by 1.53 percent.

Jokowi also mentioned the distribution of social assistance which is still not 100 percent optimal while the community is waiting for the assistance.

In a high voice, he reminded the ministers that they had to work extra hard during the crisis to be able to meet the needs of the people.

“Do not let them die first, then we help, there is no meaning. Do not have the massive layoffs from the rupiah have not even entered into our economic stimulus,” continued the President.

He also vent his irritation to his ministers in handling Covid-19.

Jokowi was even willing to risk his political reputation if he had to issue another Perppu during the pandemic.

“If I want to ask for another Perppu, I will make a Perppu. If the existing ones are not enough. As long as the people, the origin for the country, I risk my political reputation,” Jokowi said.

Jokowi asked his ministers to realize that they are currently in a time of crisis.
