Jokowi Signs 13th Salary Rule, This Is How Big

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) finally issued a grant regulation 13th salary civil servants (PNS) in 2020. These rules are contained in Government Regulation (PP) No. 44 of 2020.

This regulation was signed and promulgated on August 7, 2020. PP Number 44 of 2020 contains the thirteenth salary, pension, benefits or income of 2020 to civil servants, TNI soldiers, members of the police, non-civil servants, and recipients of pension or benefits .

Citing the beleid, Friday (7/8/2020), the 13th salary in 2020 does not apply to state offices, such as the president and vice president, then the chairman, vice chairman, and members of the DPR, then the chairman, vice chairman, young leader, and the chief judge of the Supreme Court. Then, such as ministers, echelon I and II officials and similar officials in other government agencies.

13th Salary also does not apply to civil servants, TNI soldiers, and members of the National Police who are on leave outside the responsibility of the state and who are assigned outside government agencies both inside and outside the country whose salary is paid by the agency where the assignment is assigned.

The 13th salary amount for 2020 is set at the most as much as July’s income.

The Ministry of Finance allocates the 13th 2020 salary budget of Rp 28.5 trillion. The total budget is divided as follows: Rp. 14.6 trillion for the APBN or for central civil servants, including the military, police, and retirees. As for the region or the APBD it is intended for regional civil servants, the budget is Rp. 13.89 trillion.

Previously, the Ministry of PAN-RB announced that the disbursement of the 13th 2020 salary was expected to be carried out next week. Because the revision of government regulations (PP) governing disbursement has been completed.

The Secretary of the PAN-RB Ministry, Dwi Wahyu Atmaji said the revision of the PP was just waiting to be signed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

“The PP is expected to be signed by the president so that at the latest next week it can be disbursed,” he said when contacted detikcom, Jakarta, Monday (3/8/2020).
