Jokowi listens to demonstrators’ aspirations against rising fuel prices

The community held a series of demonstrations related to rising fuel prices (BBM). President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is said to have listened to the aspirations of the people who took action.

Like him and this is properly considered, we see that various policies always have social safety nets that have been prepared in this way,” said the deputy principal expert of KSP IV Yohanes Joko, at the horse statue, central Jakarta, Tuesday (9/13/2022).

Yohanes said Jokowi also opened up opportunities to meet with the masses who held demonstrations. However, Yohanes stressed that the most important thing right now is that the government accepts every aspiration that is passed on.

Yohanes further said that Jokowi was unable to meet today’s crowd because he welcomed the Canadian ambassador to Indonesia.

Nining also said the state should be able to make people thrive. He regretted the current condition that he called many people who were not prosperous.

“The mandate of the state constitution is that the people must prosper, the people must be given justice, the people must be given equality, the people must be prosperous, but so far we haven’t heard of it,” Nining said.

For this reason, the mass of action this time claimed that the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin government was against the people. According to him, the government does not listen to the aspirations of the people.

Nining also reminded the government to listen to the demands of the masses who organized demonstrations. He reminded the government not to piss people off.
