Solo

President Joko Widodo addressing the 17th HIPMI National Conference at the Alila Hotel, Solo. At the end of his speech, Jokowi briefed the presidential candidates (Capres) who came to the HIPMI National Conference.

It’s just that Jokowi was reluctant to mention the name of the presidential candidate in question. However, Investment Minister Bahlil had hinted at the presence of a presidential candidate.

“As for the politics of the presidential and vice presidential candidates here, I don’t want to say who, but the investment minister has already said it bluntly, so I don’t need to repeat it,” Jokowi said in his remarks at the HIPMI Opening Ceremony, Monday (11/21/2022).

He instructed the presidential candidates who came to maintain the state and the political situation to remain calm. Jokowi believes that the situation in various countries is not normal.

“I entrust him to keep the conditionality of the political situation cool, if possible. If not, at least jokes from hot, But don’t make it hot,” he said.

Finally, Jokowi reminded presidential candidates and cawapres to bring our political atmosphere into 2024, not be hot. If you have to discuss, continued Jokowi, you are welcome but do not bring advice.

“Debate please, debate ideas, debate ideas to improve this country please, but don’t get heated, let alone bring SARA politics, don’t politicize the politics of religion. We heard it and it took a long time to avoid this” , he stressed.

“Make political ideas. But don’t get into politics, politicizing religion, politicizing identity, don’t be very dangerous for a country as large as it is very diverse”, he concluded.
