The second edition of the Festival Les Étoiles du Classique will be held in Saint-Germain-en-Laye from June 29 to July 2, 2023. To discover, 12 concerts and 200 young talents gathered around Karine Deshayes and Jean-Claude Casadesus:

The event aims to promote the work and talent of young musicians, the majority of whom come from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. By way of opening, the festival is aimed at young audiences in a concert entitled “La Boîte à Mystère”, summoning little-known instruments from the works of French composers such as Poulenc, Debussy, and others. The evening continues with a piano recital by Adam Laloumwhich will perform Schumann and Albeniz, and the Grande Soirée des Étoiles du Classique which will bring together some fifteen young instrumentalists in a program made up of great works from the chamber music repertoire.

The second day of festivities will begin with a new concert for young audiences: Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns accompanied by the text of Francis Blanche. The concert entitled “L’Âme slave” will then bring together the Moreau siblings (Raphaelle, David, Edgar) et David Kadouch at the piano in a chamber music program consisting of works by Brahms, Korngold and Dvořák, and will be followed by a chamber version of Marriage of Figaro by the Opera Fuoco ensemble, directed by Alexandre Camerlo and conducted by David Stern, with Anna Cavaliero in the role of Suzanne, Olivier Gourdy as Figaro, Cyrielle Ndjiki Nya as Countess, Halidou Nombre as Count, Solène Laurent as Chérubin, Caroline Meng as Marcelline, Camille Chopin as Barberine, Marco Angioloni as Basilio and Burzio and Aymeric Biesemans as Antonio and Bartolo.

On the third day, the festival offers a Vivaldi concert followed by a revival of the 2022 concert “1001 Nights of Jazz” and an open-air symphonic concert, during which works by Mozart, Bach will be played. , Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns and Dvořák by the Ostinato Orchestra under the direction of Chloé Dufresne.

Finally, the fourth and last day of this festival will be marked by three events: the “Time to dance” show, which provides for a festive musical program accompanied by dancing, before a concert by the Maîtrise de Radio France under the direction of Sofi Jeannin and a large open-air symphony concert by the Ile-de-France Youth Orchestra conducted by Jean-Claude Casadesus with Karine Deshayes (mezzo-soprano), Lucienne Renaudin Vary (trumpet), Felicien Brut (accordion), Gabriel Pidoux (oboe), Anastasia Kobekina (cello), Thomas Lefort (violin), Adam Laloum (piano) and Apolline Raï-Westphal (soprano).
