“I spoke today with a great friend of Ukraine (Prime Minister of Great Britain – UNIAN) Boris Johnson. First of all, about security and defense cooperation. We are waiting for a new package of military support. Relations between Ukraine and Britain are built on common values. And no matter what happens in politics, The ties between our countries and societies will only grow stronger,” the President stressed.

As UNIAN reported, on July 7 Boris Johnson announces his resignation from the post of British Prime Minister.

He also stated that he would remain as prime minister until a new leader of the Conservative Party and head of government was elected.

Johnson was the first G7 leader to visit Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion began. During this time, he has already visited Kyiv twice.
