Johnson thanks healthcare workers who “save his life” after corona contamination NOW

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has expressed his gratitude to the British health workers. He says he owes his life to the people who cared for him after his corona infection, he says BBC.

The 55-year-old Prime Minister thanked the staff of St Thomas Hospital in London, where he still resides. Johnson left intensive care on Thursday after three nights.

In his first public statement since his stay on IC, Johnson praises the staff of the British health service NHS. “I can’t thank them enough and I thank them for my life.”

On Saturday, British Home Secretary Priti Patel announced that Johnson still needs to work on his recovery for a while.

The coronavirus is spreading in the United Kingdom. On Saturday, 917 new deaths were registered, and the death toll will presumably pass the limit of 10,000 victims on Sunday. The number of new deaths has leveled off in recent days, but it is too early to say whether it will continue.

The government asks people to stay at home as much as possible during Easter weekend.
