Johnson announced Plan B for Omicron

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that The United Kingdom will move to Plan B, in an attempt to stop the spread of the Covid-19 Omicron variant.

During a press conference on Downing Street on Wednesday night, the prime minister confirmed the new measures, advising employees to return to work from home on Monday if conditions allow.

57 countries have already registered cases of Omicron

According to the WHO, the number of hospitalizations will increase


Vaccination passports are introduced for access to certain sites, including nightclubs, as well as for events involving a large number of visitors, such as sports events.

While, Johnson again ruled out compulsory vaccination.

Wearing face masks is mandatory indoors, including for theaters and cinemas, from Friday.

The fate is still unclear at Christmas parties this year.
