“Zelensky not only defends his country, but Ukrainians are fighting like heroes for their land. They defend the principles and values that bind us together – the rule of law, sovereignty, territorial integrity – principles that are important to the whole world,” they said in the appeal.
According to Trudeau and Johnson, at the G7 meeting they show more support for Ukraine.
“We are increasing sanctions (against the Russian Federation – ed.), We are increasing financial support, economic and military assistance (to Ukraine – ed.). We must make sure that the Ukrainians will continue to fight for our values. And our message to Vladimir (Zelensky, – ed.), and to all Ukrainians: we salute your struggle, we believe that it is completely legal and essential for our world. We support you and will continue to hold the course,” they assured.
