Through social networks, the Esmeraldas revealed on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement for the Costa Rican attacker to rejoin the team and play with them in the 2020 MX League Opening.
Campbell ended his loan with the Greens at the close of Clausura 2020 and three weeks ago he traveled to Costa Rica, to wait for negotiations between his agent, the board of the León and the Frosinone of Italy, with whom he still had a contract.
According to the journalist Francisco Montes, from Fox Sports, El Club León has acquired the entire pass from Campbell, who has thus been able to sign a three-year contract with the Greens.
The former England Arsenal arrived at León for the Clausura 2019, when he reached the runner-up in the League.
