Brock lesnar Once Demanded a Confrontation with Daniel Cormier Live on Air with Joe Rogan

UFC commentator Joe Rogan was unexpectedly involved in a tense exchange between Brock Lesnar and Daniel Cormier when the WWE star made a surprise appearance during a live broadcast and demanded a fight with “DC.” The incident, a throwback moment resurfacing online, highlighted Lesnar’s aggressive pursuit of a UFC return and his willingness to directly challenge potential opponents.

The confrontation occurred following Cormier’s victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 in July 2018, where Cormier became a two-weight UFC champion. As Cormier celebrated, Lesnar entered the octagon and immediately confronted the newly crowned champion, shoving him across the cage. Lesnar then turned his attention to rogan, who was cageside providing commentary, and issued a direct demand.

“I’m here to tell you, Joe, I want that fight,” Lesnar said, according to reports from the time. “I want that fight with Daniel Cormier.”

Cormier responded to the provocation, stating, “Push me now, you go to sleep later.” However, despite the public challenge and initial negotiations, a fight between Lesnar and Cormier never materialized. Lesnar ultimately returned to WWE, and the highly anticipated clash remained unrealized.

While Lesnar’s intimidating presence didn’t faze Rogan, the commentator has revealed that only one UFC fighter has ever truly made him nervous, though he has not publicly disclosed who that fighter is. The Lesnar-Cormier incident remains a memorable moment in UFC history, showcasing Lesnar’s penchant for dramatic entrances and his ambition to compete in mixed martial arts.
