In an upload on his Twitter, Joe Biden conveyed hope for Muslims.
“As the crescent moon revealed itself, Jill and I sent our warm greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community in the United States and around the world,” wrote Biden on his Twitter account, as quoted on Tuesday (13/4/2021).
In addition, the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, also congratulated Ramadan.
“All over the world, Muslim families take the time to help those most in need, and reflect on the blessings that come with faith,” wrote Kamala as quoted from his Twitter post.
In the short video, Kamala Harris also conveyed President Biden’s hope of re-opening the White House once again to celebrate Eid and mark the end of the holy month.
Ramadan in 2021 is almost the same as 2020, because the world is still fighting the Covid pandemic.
