Joe Biden’s narrow victory had also been confirmed in Arizona earlier. There, Republican Governor Doug Ducey said the elections had been conducted with integrity. “We have good elections in Arizona, the system is strong,” he said. Biden is the first Democrat in 70 years to make it to Arizona. In the final result, he beat Donald Trump by 10,457 votes, which is a 0.3 percent lead.
While the result was confirmed, Trump’s attorneys met in the capital Phoenix. They maintain that irregularities have happened in Arizona and elsewhere. But, as in other states, they could not substantiate their claims.
