Joanna Felczak came to Zakopane on Saturday, September 19. The next day, around 11:30, she left the Murowaniec shelter on Hala Gąsienicowa, heading for the Czarny Staw – Kasprowy Wierch – Kuźnice trails. In the photos published by Tatra Volunteer Rescue Service you can see, among others the moment when Joanna Felczak leaves the shelter. TOPR appeals to everyone who has stayed in Zakopane on the day of their disappearance to view their photos. To search for the 40-year-old from Warsaw, a TOPR helicopter, police drones and specially trained psy search and rescue.
– Policemen performed search activities in Zakopane. Checking the surveillance camera record, we found out that the wanted man was heading towards Kuźnice. Additionally, her phone logged in in the area of Hala Gąsienicowa. It is puzzling, however, why the woman turned off the phone and does not answer any calls – said the spokesman for Zakopane the police in conversation with “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
