KOMPAS.com – Racer Repsol Honda and the reigning champion of the World Championship MotoGp, Marc Marquez, give safe to Joan Mir who just locked the world title MotoGP 2020.
Joan Mir is only the seventh finisher on MotoGP Valencia which was held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Sunday (11/15/2020) evening WIB.
However, this achievement succeeded in getting Joan Mir to the world champion podium MotoGP 2020.
Finishing seventh gave Joan Mir an additional nine points and now he has a total of 171 points.

With one more race left, namely the Portuguese MotoGP, the points are impossible to catch.
The reason is, Joan Mir is now 29 points ahead of his closest competitor in the standings, Franco Morbidelli, who is in second place.
This is the first MotoGP world title in Joan Mir’s career, who is still 23 years old.
Joan Mir’s success in becoming the MotoGP world champion at the same time ended the domination of Marc Marquez who won the title for four consecutive years.
However, Marc Marquez did not mind sharing his place with Joan Mir. He even immediately congratulated the Suzuki Ecstar team racer.

Meanwhile, the 2020 MotoGP series leaves one more series, namely the Portuguese GP.
The Portuguese MotoGP will take place at the Algarve International Circuit, 20-22 November.
