The group’s tribute performances are drawing audiences eager to revisit classic French chansons and participate in a communal musical experience.
The JJM Trio,formed by Jean,a musician inspired by encounters with legendary artists like Félix Leclerc,Marc Ogeret,and Serge Kerval sixty years ago,debuted its Aufray cover show in November 2024 at the langres Theater. Since then, the trio has consistently performed evenings dedicated to Aufray’s repertoire, including beloved hits such as “Santiano,” “Céline,” ”Stewball,” “Des jonquilles aux lilas,” “As soon as the spring returns,” “Hasta Luego,” “Farewell Mr. professor,” and “Le Petit âne Gris.”
